Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health Division as an Integrated Prescriber in Medford, MA. The hybrid role combines in-office and remote care.

You will conduct clinical evaluations, develop and adjust care plans, provide consultations to PCPs, and refer patients as needed. MA APRN license with board certification and DEA/MCSR are required; 3+ years pediatric/adult experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts APRN license and Board Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner are required.
• Active Federal DEA and Massachusetts MCSR Certificate required or in process.
• Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience as a psychiatric nurse clinician; pediatric and adult experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hybrid position: care delivered both in-office and remotely.
• Conduct clinical evaluations and develop/adjust care plans including prescribing.
• Provide consultation to Primary Care Providers and other staff on behavioral health issues.
• Refer patients to appropriate levels of care as needed.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts APRN license and Board Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Federal DEA and Massachusetts MCSR Certificate required or in process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience as a psychiatric nurse clinician, with previous experience and the ability to see both pediatric and adult patients is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $109,500 to $164,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
