Job summary

Aspire Psychology in downtown Portland is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our hybrid private group practice.

You will provide comprehensive psychiatric care for adults and adolescents, conduct intakes, manage medications, and document thoroughly, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed prescriber; 2+ years preferred.
• Active prescribing within the past year required.
• Active Oregon license or eligibility for licensure required.
• PMHNP national board certification required.
• Must obtain active, unrestricted DEA registration for Oregon.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to adults and adolescents (14+) with mild to moderate conditions.
• Complete comprehensive psychiatric intakes, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing medication management following professional standards.
• Offer in-person care when appropriate for treatment.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and licensing requirements.
• Participate in community engagement and referral development.

• Provide psychiatric care to adult patients, or to both adult and adolescent patients (ages 14+) with mild to moderate mental health conditions.
• Complete comprehensive psychiatric intakes, diagnostic assessments, and individualized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management in accordance with professional standards.
• Provide in-person care when clinically appropriate for a patient's treatment.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality requirements, and all applicable laws/licensing requirements.
• Participate in community engagement and referral-development efforts.
