Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Woodbridge, VA to provide high-quality psychiatric care in-person or via telemedicine. You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with clinic leadership to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Masters in Nursing with active prescriptive authority.
• Familiarity with AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person or telemedicine psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Review and approve individualized service plans and assessments.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs and services.

Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Woodbridge, VA.

In an effort to maintain safety and best practices for our clinicians and patients via telemedicine, Thriveworks does not currently prescribe any stimulant or benzodiazepine medications for adults. We do not currently treat substance use disorders, and make every effort to refer out to an in person provider when symptoms arise that are too severe to be treated via telemedicine only.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required

• Masters in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required

• Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR a plus

• Three years experience a plus

Compensation

• Up to $157,000+ per year based on 2 clients/hour

Job Requirements

• Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in-person or via telemedicine, as needed

• Prescribe medication in an effort to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed

• Review and approve individualized service plans and assessments

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs and services at the various sites
