Jewish Child Care Association (JCCA) in the Bronx is seeking a Part-time Bilingual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to support children, youth ages 4–26 and their families with psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychoeducation. The ideal candidate holds a NYS PNP license, has 1–2 years of relevant experience with youth, and is fluent in Spanish.

Qualifications

• Licensed NYS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with current credentials.
• 1–2 years of experience with children/youth facing emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric disorders.
• Experience working with families with complex, multi-system needs and in crisis settings.
• Strong documentation and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations, and federal health guidelines.
• Background in evidence-based practices and models.
• Understanding of Social Determinants of Health, Race Equity, Social Justice, and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments.
• Provide medication administration and monitoring.
• Coordinate care with external psychiatrists and healthcare providers.

• Maintain consistent documentation and communication with the clinical team.

JCCA’s Behavioral Health and Wellness division is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our Bronx Counseling Center (BCC) team on a part-time basis. The BCC provides high-quality mental health services to children and youth (ages 4–26) and their families. Our services include individual and family therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, and referrals to community providers. Care is delivered both in-person and via telehealth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments
