Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a per diem Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for State Correctional Institution Albion in Albion, PA. The role is 2-3 days per week, providing psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment under clinical direction of a psychiatrist.

Requirements include ANCC/AANP certification, PA CRNP license with DEA, completion of PMHNP program, and at least 1 year of prescribing experience, with security clearance as required by the PA DOC. Malpractice insurance is provided.

Qualifications

• ANCC or AANP Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner certification included.
• PA CRNP license with active, unrestricted PA license & DEA.
• At least 1 year of prescribing experience required.
• Security clearance process as required by PA Department of Corrections.

Responsibilities

Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a per diem Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at State Correctional Institution-Albion. This position is for 2-3 days per week.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• ANCC or AANP Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner with active, unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNP medical license & DEA.
• Completion of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program
• At least 1 year of prescribing experience required
• All qualified applicants are required to successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections
