Job summary

Meridian Health Services in Indiana seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver life-changing care within a multi-disciplinary team. You will assess, diagnose, and manage mental health conditions and develop personalized care plans for individuals and families.

Focus on evidence-based practice, thorough documentation, and regulatory compliance. Requires NP training, Indiana licensure, prescriptive authority, and a passion for whole-person healthcare in underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Common Indiana RN license in good standing.
• Eligibility or active prescriptive authority/DEA licensure.
• Preferably 2+ years of related experience.
• Community health or mental health experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice
• Conduct physical exams across diverse populations using a structured, developmental approach
• Make differential diagnoses and identify medical and non-medical contributors to health
• Create individualized treatment plans that improve outcomes and support long-term wellness
• Collaborate with patients and families to build meaningful, personalized health plans
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation aligned with Meridian standards
• Champion ethical, compliant care in accordance with all regulations
