WMC Health Network is seeking a well-trained Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Psychiatry in the Behavioral Health Center in Valhalla, NY. The NP will work in the inpatient psychiatry division, providing services to adults, including triage, evaluations, follow-up, prescribing, and counseling as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Nursing, NP credential in Psychiatry, and a NYS NP license.

We are seeking a well-trained Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Psychiatry of Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) in the Department’s inpatient psychiatry division at WMCHealth’s Behavioral Health Center in Valhalla, New York. The ideal candidate will have a track record of clinical accomplishments in the treatment of patients with serious mental illness, and will provide services to adults, including triage, diagnostic evaluations, follow-up care, prescribing, and individual counseling and group treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities also include reviewing patients' medication records to determine the appropriateness of the existing medication regimen.This is an employed position through WMC Advanced Physician Services, which is a subsidiary professional corporation of WMCHealth.
