iRecruitmd is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) to join a faith-based community health center near Lafayette, Louisiana. This full-time role provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care within a mission-driven setting.

The ideal candidate has PMHNP-BC, an active Louisiana APRN license or eligibility, and experience in community mental health.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certified as a PMHNP-BC.
• Current and unrestricted Louisiana APRN license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Prior experience in community mental health or integrated care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for patients across the lifespan.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of outpatient clients and provide inpatient consultations as needed.
• Document patient encounters in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in care coordination, case conferences, and community outreach initiatives.
• Promote the organization’s faith-based mission and values through compassionate and ethical clinical practice.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) to join our faith-based community health center located near Lafayette, Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity to serve patients in a mission-driven environment that integrates clinical excellence with whole-person, spiritually informed care.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to a diverse patient population through a mix of outpatient and inpatient settings. You’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and support staff who are committed to improving mental health access and outcomes within the community.
