Job summary

Professional Care Medical Practice, P.C. in New York seeks a Full Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver on-site psychiatric services at two correctional facilities in Jamesville and Syracuse. This 40-hour-per-week role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with hours shared between facilities. We offer a competitive salary ($130k–$160k) with a $30k sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and professional support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health.
• Licensed to practice Medicine in New York state.
• Maintain current DEA license.
• Maintain active BLS (CPR) certification.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site psychiatry services at two correctional facilities in Jamesville and Syracuse.
• Work a 40-hour week with Monday–Friday schedule across both facilities.
• Collaborate with facility staff to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care.

It is the perfect hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine; providing care to an under-served, diverse, and truly appreciative patient population.

We are currently looking for a Full Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide on-site psychiatry services at the Onondaga County Correctional Facility in Jamesville, NY and Onondaga County Justice Center in Syracuse, NY.

This is a 40 hour per week position. Weekly schedule is Monday - Friday, normal business hours shared between the two buildings.

We are offering a $30,000.00 Sign On Bonus for this position!
