WellPower in Denver is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse I (LPN) or II (RN) for a full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) to support the Walk-In Crisis Center and Behavioral Health Solutions Center. You will provide direct nursing services, mental health assessments, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role includes administering medications, drawing blood, occasional injections, and maintaining precise clinical records. Experience in behavioral health is preferred.

Qualifikationen

Position Summary:

Provide direct nursing services, mental health assessments, and treatment to the people we serve with severe and persistent mental illness. You will obtain, record, and communicate important clinical information, and provide clinical services within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Department Specific Details:

The Walk-In Crisis Center is open 24/7/365 and provides in-person mental health crisis care, information and referrals right when you need it the most. Our services are voluntary and available to people of all ages, no matter your insurance coverage or ability to pay.

The Behavioral Health Solutions Center is a 24/7/365 first responder drop-off location for individuals in the community experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

• Psychiatric Nurse I (LPN) - $30.12 - $31.62/hour
• Psychiatric Nurse II (RN) - $40.56 - $48.56
• Awake Overnight Differential - $3/hour
• Float Differential - $2.00/hr
• Language Differential - $2.50/hr for bilingual proficiency in Spanish & ASL

The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.

Job Duties & Functions:

• Provide psychological problem identification, crisis interventions, and similar services to assigned patients.
• Provide limited case management services to people we serve as needed.
• Assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation.
• Coordinate consumer’s use of otherWellPowerprograms and outside community resources.
• Coordinate medical care and intervention with other clinical staff and psychiatrist(s).
• Draw blood for lab work for patients.
• Periodically provide community injections
• Administer medications including intramuscular medications.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent withWellPowerstandards.
• Participate in team/organization meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
• Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Psychiatric Nurse I:
  • Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience working with patients with a serious and persistent mental illness (preferred).
• Psychiatric Nurse II:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. License must be in good standing.
  • Experience: Minimum two years nursing experience; experience in a behavioral health or outpatient clinic (preferred).

Work Location:This is a on-site position at 4353 E Colfax Ave, & 2929 W 10th Ave Denver, CO

Shift/Hours: WellPower's Crisis Services is wanting a Nurse who is looking for a full-time AON 7pm-7:30am position and would like some flexibility around their schedule. This position provides a unique opportunity to work full-time between two crisis programs, the Denver Walk-In Crisis Center and the Behavioral Health Solutions Center.

Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive hand/finger motions, manual dexterity. Requires fine motor skills required for precise clinical procedures. Requires visual and auditory acuity to observe patient behavior and respond to alarms and calls. Requires a capacity to handle emotionally charged situations and maintain professional boundaries. Requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills for diagnosis and treatment planning, and to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.
