Job summary

Southwest Care Center is seeking a licensed PMHNP to join the Alameda Clinic in Santa Fe, NM. The role focuses on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment in a collaborative, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• PMHNP certification and NM license required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Current BLS certification and DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations across a spectrum of mental health conditions.
• Analyze patient history and present findings to develop differential diagnoses.
• Develop evidence-based differential diagnoses and coordinate with specialists as needed.
• Prescribe psychotropic medications and manage treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medications.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain patient charts per SCC policies and standards.
• Handle psychiatric emergencies with appropriate escalation.
