Job summary

Columbia Mental Health, part of Transformations Care Network, is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Reston, VA.

You will conduct psychiatric assessments, manage psychopharmacology, and work with therapists to provide integrated care, including interventional treatments like TMS and Spravato.

Qualifications

• Licensed and board certified in the state where the clinic is located.
• Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with behavioral health experience (required).
• Psychiatric-Mental Health certification (PMHNP-BC or CAQ-Psych) (preferred).
• Experience in outpatient settings and with clients across the lifespan (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessment and ongoing psychopharmacological management.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work as a team with mental health clinicians providing psychotherapy services.
• Provide interventional treatments including TMS and Spravato.
