Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a warm, razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioner to perform consultations in nursing homes.

You will have full administrative support and clinical mentorship, with the autonomy and flexibility of private practice within a collaborative team of ambitious APRNs. Requirements include an MSN, active Psychiatric NP license, ANCC board certification, and the ability to travel in New York.

Qualifications

• MSN required and active NP license.
• ANCC board certification.
• State licensure to practice as Psychiatric NP.

Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments.
