Join our team as a full-time psychiatrist at KidsPeace Children's Hospital. We offer a dynamic work environment with a focus on child and adolescent mental health.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Work Hours: Primarily Monday through Friday, with additional hours and weekends as needed
• Open to: New Graduates
• Patient Load: Outpatient 15-20, Residential 8-10
• Call Schedule: Yes

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to $250,000, based on experience
• Additional Income: Earn $15,000-$18,000 annually through on-call work

Responsibilities

Evaluate and monitor the psychiatric and medical needs of assigned patients, communicate needs through interdisciplinary team planning, and document in medical records.

Requirements

• MD or DO with state licensure
• Completed accredited residency in general psychiatry; child/adolescent psychiatry preferred
• Board Eligibility/Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in general and child/adolescent psychiatry when applicable
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience preferred
• Experience with emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred
• Valid driver's license, SCM certification, CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Willing to travel independently 10% of the time
