Job summary

Alliance for Wellness seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Santa Clarita Valley team in Valencia, CA. You will conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, provide medication management, and document in the EMR under a supervising psychiatrist.

The role supports the Crisis Stabilization Unit at Henry Mayo NewHall Hospital, with flexible full-time/part-time/contract arrangements and a schedule from 8AM to 6PM.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an advanced PMHNP degree.
• California PMHNP license with 2N DEA license.
• At least 2 years NP experience required for credentialing.
• Experience with SPMI or chemical dependence populations.
• Acute care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Initial Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation.
• Provide 1:1 Medication management and psychiatric assessments.
• Documentation in EMR.
• Provide psychiatric care under the supervision of a Psychiatrist.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff.
• Will mainly support our Crisis Stabilization Unit at Henry Mayo NewHall Hospital, Valencia, CA.

Qualifications:
