Job summary

BlueSky Telepsych is seeking a PMHNP to provide effective telehealth psychiatric care in an outpatient setting. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary, operating with autonomy and in the patient’s best interest.

This role supports collaboration with a diverse team of clinicians, requires licensing in multiple states (AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA), and offers flexible scheduling with home-based telehealth.

Qualifications

• Must have a PMHNP license and be open to licensing in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.
• At least 6 months of prior PMHNP work experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
• Solid computer and basic technology skills.
• Strong clinical background in psychiatry.
• Strong background in diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacology, with familiarity of non-pharmacological interventions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting.
• Provide direct patient care, conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary.
• Ensure that patient care complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• We are not affiliated with hospitals or clinics; enjoy autonomy of practicing in patient interests without corporate interference.
• We are growing in teams of therapists and prescribers; onboarding introduces you to suitable colleagues for a match.
• Regular staffing with collaborating therapists at least monthly to discuss cases or clinical topics.
• Clinical work performed from home; schedules per clinician's choice (mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays). Virtual clinical conferences.
• Attend clinical conferences: at least one per week for first 90 days, then one monthly.

• We are growing in the form of teams composed of multiple therapists and a prescriber. With onboarding, you meet multiple eligible psychotherapists looking for additions to their team and a match is made.
• We emphasize regular staffing with your collaborating therapists, at least monthly, to discuss patient cases or clinical topics.
• Clinical work is performed from home, days and hours are per the clinician's choosing (this includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.). Clinical team meetings are also virtual.
• Clinical conferences are held four times a week. It is required that you attend at least one per week for the first 90 days of employment; after that, it is required that you attend one monthly.
