Job summary

Balanced Wellbeing, LLC is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for in-office duties in Lake City, FL. The role includes assessing patients, prescribing meds, and developing tailored treatment plans for emotional and behavioral disorders.

The PMHNP will handle both in-person and Telehealth visits, participate in administrative activities, and stay current with professional knowledge. FL licensure required; DEA license preferred with reimbursement support.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Florida.
• DEA license number on file or willingness to obtain; reimbursement offered.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' psychological and emotional well-being and prescribe medication as needed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and disorder severity.
• Be on-call for emergencies and urgent situations as staffing allows.
• Conduct in-person and Telehealth visits for scheduled clients.
• Maintain professional knowledge through publications, conferences, and ongoing education.
• Attend administrative meetings as required.

Balanced Wellbeing, LLC is currently seeking a compassionate licensed PMHNP is to fill a position in our Lake City location. This is not a remote position we will need you to report to the Lake City office to handle in office visits.

General Responsibilities

• Assess your patient/client’s overall psychological and emotional well-being, prescribe medication; counsel patients, using a variety of methods to evaluate a patient, such as interviewing the patient, their family, or other persons. Monitor the effects of any medication and adjust treatment where necessary.
• Develop a treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and the extent of the emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorder.
• On-call for Emergency and Urgent situations -by phone every 5-6 months (as current staffing allows).
• Includes seeing scheduled Clients through both in-person and Telehealth visits.
• Keep up to date with professional job knowledge by reading publications, attending educational conferences, or maintaining professional networks.
• Attend administrative meetings when required.
