Job summary

Compass Health, the region's largest nonprofit behavioral health provider in Western Washington, seeks an LPN to administer psychotropic medications and educate clients. You will support recovery, participate in treatment planning, and help maintain a therapeutic milieu at Crisis Triage Centers.

You must hold a Washington LPN license with 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred and have or obtain First Aid/CPR within 90 days. Strong communication and EMR skills are essential.

Qualifications

• WA LPN license required.
• Two years psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to clients and monitor responses.
• Transcribe medication orders accurately and in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with treatment team on medication compliance and effects.
• Stock and maintain medications and supplies; coordinate with pharmacies.
• Lead medication education groups as assigned.
• Respond to medical emergencies and perform needed interventions.
