Highland Rivers Behavioral Health in Rome, GA, is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our psychiatric care team. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to support individuals with serious mental illness.
The role requires a Georgia LPN license, at least two years in behavioral health, strong communication, and EMR proficiency.
Competenze
- Active, unrestricted LPN license in Georgia.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a mental health setting.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their effects.
- Ability to conduct mental health assessments and screenings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with individuals, families and professionals.
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License and EMR experience.
Mansioni
- Conduct mental health and nursing assessments to determine care needs.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans for mental health conditions.
- Administer medications and monitor their effects.
- Monitor physical health needs and vital signs as appropriate.
- Provide education to individuals and families on medications and coping skills.
- Collaborate with PCPs and other mental health professionals for coordinated care.
