The position is part of a Kentucky Registered Apprenticeship Program, offering on-the-job learning during working hours, annual raises, and skill progression.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with psychiatric-mental health training.
• Under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Participates in assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning and care coordination.
• Engages in health teaching and health promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning and implementing care.
• Coordinate care and provide health teaching and health promotion to patients.
• Support mission-driven leadership focused on patient care and quality improvement.
• Follow facility policies and attendance policies including overtime when needed.
