Job summary

Intermountain Hospital in Boise, ID is seeking a dynamic Psych Tech for full-time night shifts (12 hours). You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to plan and implement treatment goals, provide continuous patient care, observation, and modeling under a RN and Program Manager.

Qualifications include high school diploma and CPI/seclusion/restraint training, knowledge of psychiatric care, de-escalation, CPR, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• CPI/seclusion/restraint training/certification.
• Knowledge of psychiatric care techniques.
• Knowledge of de-escalation and assaultive behavior management techniques.
• Thorough knowledge and training in CPR.
• Knowledge of all code procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing services for an assigned program.
• Provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Program Manager.
