Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Hillsboro, OH is seeking a registered nurse to support clients across psychiatric and behavioral health services. The role includes administering medications, performing screenings, and coordinating care with a Nurse Practitioner to ensure safe, person-centered outcomes.

You will travel throughout the service area, with a focus on developmental disabilities when applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Coordinate case management and community services.
• Assist clients in building skills in emotion, stress and anger management, communication and relationships.
