Forest View Hospital, located seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking a qualified Psych RN for its Partial Hospitalization Program. The role provides nursing care to adolescents and adults, uses the nursing process, and supports discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN and able to practice in Michigan.
• Experience in psychiatric/behavioral health care preferred.
• Familiar with nursing process and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurse care on PHP unit with adolescent and adult patients.
• Develop and update nursing care plans using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, and deliver care for co-occurring disorders.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education.
• Maintain safe, therapeutic milieu and document accurately.
