Qualifications

• Must have an active and clean Nurse Practitioner license with psychiatric certification.
• Experience in substance abuse is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certification in CPR is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field is needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical for all patients within 24 hours of admission.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations.
• Order and interpret lab tests.
• Prescribe non-controlled medications and controlled substances.
• Provide education related to medical issues and detox.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss, assess, and resolve patient problems.
