Job summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis invites applications for a PSR Aide to support the PSR teacher/catechist and create a safe, welcoming, faith-filled learning environment for students.

The aide assists with instruction, supervision, and daily classroom needs while upholding Catholic teachings and confidentiality. A high school diploma and experience with children are preferred, with willingness to learn Catholic traditions and cooperate with staff and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Familiarity with Catholic teachings and traditions is helpful.
• Experience in school, parish, or childcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PSR teacher/catechist with instruction and activities.
• Provide individual and small-group support to students.
• Support prayers, Scripture lessons, and Catholic teachings in class.
• Supervise students to maintain a safe, respectful environment.
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and activities.
• Help with attendance procedures and basic recordkeeping.
