F5 Networks, Inc is seeking a Security Engineer to lead PSIRT initiatives, oversee vulnerability management, and respond to complex security incidents. You will coordinate with global teams, mentor engineers, and advance a security-first culture.

Responsibilities include conducting investigations, guiding remediation, and publishing advisories while collaborating with Product Engineering, Legal, and Communications. Strong leadership, cloud proficiency, and Python scripting are valued.

Formación

• Minimum 15 years in technical security roles (incident response, security support, monitoring, or consulting).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Expert understanding of CVE, CVSS, vulnerability assessment, risk prioritization, and NIST standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead security incident investigations and remediation efforts.
• Monitor and assess vulnerabilities across F5 products and services.
• Coordinate with Engineering and stakeholders for timely remediation.
• Publish security advisories, mitigations, and fix notifications.
• Mentor engineers and drive security knowledge sharing.
