The Caminos program serves unaccompanied children migrating to the United States from other countries to help them find safe, stable homes and a path toward citizenship. KyUMH administers the Caminos program through partnerships with Everstand and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). This program is an expansion of our services as we answer God’s call to serve those who are victims of abuse, neglect and/or trauma.
The Prevention of Sexual Abuse (PSA) Compliance and Quality Improvement Manager works with in-depth knowledge of KYUMH policies and procedures related to the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), the Interim Final Rule and PSA requirements for the Caminos Shelter and Caminos Home Study/Post Release Services (HS/PRS) Programs. The PSA Compliance and Quality Improvement Manager is directly responsible for the development, coordination, facilitation, and evaluation of program training in accordance with KYUMH Agency, state licensing standards, COA accreditation policies, and other federal, state and local regulatory requirements. The PSA Compliance and Quality Improvement Manager educates, trains and advises on policies and procedures related to PSA, Coordinated Response, Zero Tolerance and Code of Conduct. The PSA Compliance and Quality Improvement Manager oversees implementation and ongoing compliance with the Interim Final Rule on UC sexual abuse and sexual harassment standards.
