Job summary

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, based in Kansas City, MO, seeks a ProX Program Specialist-1 to support hands-on administrative, outreach, and event efforts during the summer internship cycle.

You will interact with students, families, employers, schools, and community partners; help students complete program steps; maintain records; and assist with day-to-day coordination to deliver a high-quality work-based learning experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, social work, youth development, or related fields.
• At least five years in program management, coaching, youth development, or education.
• Experience coaching or mentoring youth, especially from historically underserved communities.
• Hybrid schedule with travel across the Kansas City metro; in-person work is primary.
• Familiar with work-based learning or student career readiness.
• Strong writing and speaking skills; professional credibility.
• Must pass criminal background check and fingerprint clearance.
• Strong computer literacy across common office software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a representative at school and community events.
• Support intern onboarding and HR paperwork.
• Plan and deliver ProX onboarding sessions.
• Coordinate staffing for ProX events and Hiring Fair.
• Maintain accurate records and data tracking in ProX systems.
• Communicate updates and trends to the ProX team in real time.
