Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) invites applications and nominations for the position ofProvost, Loudoun Campus. Reporting directly to the President and serving as a member of the Administrative Council, the Provost is the chief administrative officer of the Loudoun Campus and provides strategic leadership for campus operations, student success, enrollment, community engagement, resource stewardship, and planning.
The Loudoun Provost will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic campus while helping shape the broader future of one of the nation’s largest community colleges. This is a highly visible leadership role for an accomplished higher education administrator who is energized by student success, community engagement, organizational leadership, and the opportunity to translate institutional strategy into meaningful campus-level impact.
The next Provost will provide strategic oversight of campus planning, operations, facilities, safety, budgets, and resource allocation while ensuring that resources are aligned with institutional priorities. The Provost will lead efforts to sustain and grow enrollment and improve student outcomes; recruit, develop, and mentor campus leadership and employees; and strengthen relationships throughout the region.
Equally important, the Provost will serve as a collaborative collegewide leader, contributing to initiatives that advance the strategic priorities of NOVA and the Virginia Community College System.
