Provider Training and Development Specialist

Salary: $60,000.00 Annually

Position Overview

The Provider Training and Development Specialist is responsible for the coordination, execution, and evaluation of provider trainings and training materials.

Essential Functions
  • Assist in the design, development, and facilitation of trainings for CBH providers.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training deficits.
  • Deliver pre-and post-training evaluation to participants as needed.
  • Utilize creative and adaptive teaching techniques to accommodate adult learning needs, such as e-learning, web-based virtual trainings, and workshops.
  • Prepare clear, well-written training materials for the appropriate audience.
Position Requirements
  • Education: Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Public Health, or related field.
  • License/Certification: N/A.
  • Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in a behavioral health setting; two years of professional experience in training and adult education.

  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word).
Philadelphia Residency Requirement
  • The successful candidate must be a current Philadelphia resident or become a resident within six months of hire.
