Job summary

The Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness is seeking a Provider Services Manager to support regional CCR&R staff in delivering high-quality services to child care professionals across Oklahoma.

This role develops products and services, provides technical assistance, monitors contract goals, and delivers training to new staff, with strong emphasis on program evaluation and stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred in early childhood, education, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree required in early childhood, education, or related field.
  • Experience delivering professional development opportunities.
  • Experience providing in-person and virtual technical assistance and coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Develop products and services for delivery by regional CCR&R Infant Toddler & Child Care Consultants.
  • Provide technical assistance to regional CCR&R Infant Toddler & Child Care Consultants.
  • Work with OPSR/CCR&R to meet contract goals and requirements related to Scope of Work and annual Progress Assessment.
  • Establish positive working relationships with regional CCR&R agency staff.
  • Assist in monitoring Provider Services delivered by regional CCR&R agencies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of program evaluation principles and practices.
  • Provide staffing support to state-level committees and workgroups.
  • Deliver training during OPSR/CCR&R Orientation on organization history, Practice Based Coaching, and TA/Consultant Guidebook.

About This Role

The Provider Services Manager is responsible for supporting regional Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) agency staff in their delivery of high quality services to child care professionals across the statewide network. The CCR&R Network is administered under the Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness (OPSR), the State's Early Childhood Advisory Council whose mission is to lead Oklahoma in coordinating an early childhood system that strengthens families and ensures all children are ready for school.

What You'll Do
Essential Functions
  • Develop products & services for delivery by regional CCR&R Infant Toddler & Child Care Consultants.
  • Provide technical assistance to regional CCR&R Infant Toddler & Child Care Consultants.
  • Work with OPSR/CCR&R to meet contract goals and requirements related to Scope of Work & annual Progress Assessment.
  • Establish positive working relationships with regional CCR&R agency staff.
  • Assist in monitoring Provider Services delivered by regional CCR&R agencies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices of program evaluation.
  • Provide staffing support to assigned committees and workgroups at the state level.
  • Provide training during OPSR/CCR&R Orientation to newly hired state & regional CCR&R staff to include, but not limited to: History of the organization, Practice Based Coaching, & Technical Assistance/Consultant Guidebook.
  • Provide regular communication to regional CCR&R agency staff clarifying the expectations regarding delivery of direct services to child care professionals statewide.
  • Establish positive working relationships with partner agencies.
  • Keep CCR&R Director updated on issues related to Providers Services.
  • Identify needed areas of self-improvement and actively pursue appropriate means and methods to increase effectiveness in those areas.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned that support the mission of OPSR/CCR&R and the broader early childhood system.

  • Ability to organize and coordinate work on multiple projects with concurrent deadlines and prioritize tasks based on deadlines and importance.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in response to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to use good judgment and discretion.
  • Strong computer and software skills.
  • Able to manage the relationship with regional CCR&R agency staff, encouraging performance while not actually supervising the individuals. Must be able to communicate performance to their Regional Director and discuss needed improvements.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred, bachelor's degree required in early childhood, education, or a related field
  • Minimum one year experience in child care classroom
  • Experience in program coordination
  • Experience in project management
  • Have experience delivering professional development opportunities
  • Have extensive experience providing in-person as well as virtual, one-to-one, technical assistance and coaching using Practice Based Coaching methods.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally within the state and up to twice annually to out-of-state conferences.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, valid automobile insurance and own vehicle to use for work.
  • Occasional travel is required during evenings and weekends.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs., bending, and kneeling throughout the day.
  • Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking.
