Job summary

American Health Plans is seeking a network development professional to contract providers, ensure credentialing, and support CMS adequacy for our plan members.

You will educate providers on plan functions, maintain relationships, and assist with market expansion in a collaborative team environment. Travel to provider locations is required; teleworking may be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care field required.
• Knowledge of Medicare Advantage or provider networks is beneficial.
• Ability to convey plan offerings to providers.

Responsibilities

• Contracting providers and essential vendors to maintain CMS adequacy and provide services.
• Ensure credentialing requirements are met for service lines.
• Educate providers on Health Plan functions and roles.
• Conduct CMS-mandated updates and provider education presentations.
• Monitor, maintain, and support provider relationships to ensure network coverage.
• Assist in implementation and project work as needed.
• Promote a positive work environment and process improvements.
• Complete corporate assignments as assigned.
