Job summary

Medica is seeking a Provider Network Manager to develop and maintain our nationwide provider network, ensuring competitive costs and quality care for members. The role negotiates contracts, builds relationships with hospitals, physicians, and ancillary providers, and coordinates network strategy with internal teams.

This office-based position requires three days on-site weekly and offers a comprehensive rewards package, including medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare management or related field.
• Plus 3 years of work experience in health insurance/healthcare field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain provider network to yield competitive, geographic, stable network.
• Evaluates and negotiates contracts in compliance with templates and reimbursement structures.
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with providers.
• Processes and negotiates contract amendments and communicates terms to internal staff.
• Updates and maintains contract tracking system and calendar.
