Franklin-County-Medical-Center is seeking a Provider Enrollment Specialist to organize and verify the provider enrollment process for physicians and facilities. You will work with insurers to track progress, maintain databases, and ensure compliant enrollment status across systems.

The role requires 1–3 years in medical office or billing, knowledge of PECOS and CAQH portals, and attention to detail. This is a 40-hour weekly position on days, with potential travel for training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years' experience in medical office, hospital admin, medical billing, or health insurance coordination.
• Understanding medical terminology; familiarity with PECOS and CAQH Provider Data Portal preferred.

Responsabilités

• Complete and submit enrollment forms to commercial insurers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Coordinate with insurance companies to track progress and resolve delays.
• Keep provider databases updated with licenses, certifications, NPIs, and practice locations.
• Manage periodic re-enrollment and revalidation to prevent billing lapses.
• Research and fix billing rejections due to enrollment or network status errors.
