Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a detail-oriented professional to maintain the provider demographic data within the Jefferson Health network. Under supervision, you will update provider records, assign fee schedules, and ensure pricing/contract information is accurate for participating and non-participating providers.

You will process credentialing and related service forms, run production reports, and support data quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; health insurance knowledge preferred.
• Strong relational database experience and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook; working knowledge of Excel or Access and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Enter demographic data of new providers into the provider network database and assign fee schedules and related pricing/contract information.
• Make changes to demographic and pricing/contract data for existing providers.
• Retrieve and validate updates based on production reports for all providers in the network database.

This includes, but is not limited to: Physicians and other Individual Providers Ancillaries Facilities Hospital-based Facility-basedJob DutiesAble to work in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerMaintain and foster a collaborative relationship with internal and external customers.Precisely complete all Claims and Reconsideration Service Forms according to department’s service-level agreement with ClaimsPrecisely complete Credentialing, PDC, and Finance service forms according to expected levels of quality and timelinessEnter demographic data of new providers (as noted above) into provider network database and assign fee schedule and related pricing/contract information.Make necessary changes to demographic and pricing/contract data for existing providers (as noted above).Retrieve, validate and perform any necessary updates based on production reports for all providers as noted above.
