Job summary

ALLCPR is seeking an enthusiastic Instructor to teach American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED and related courses at local sites. You will prepare sessions, deliver engaging training, and ensure compliance with ARC requirements while guiding learners to proficiency.

For the Instructor Trainer track, you will train instructor candidates, evaluate performance, and ensure sessions meet ARC standards. This is a part-time contractor role with weekend and/or weekday flexibility and pay of $30–$40 per

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification is required.
• American Red Cross Instructor Trainer Certification is preferred for trainer roles.
• Bachelor's or higher degree is not required; relevant certifications and teaching experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses and ensure material up-to-date.
• Deliver instructor-level training sessions to individuals or groups.
• Demonstrate proper CPR/AED techniques in line with ARC requirements.
• Provide feedback to candidates to help them improve performance.
• Monitor candidate progress to ensure proficiency and timely completion of records.

Our Work Environment Includes

The Instructor will teach American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses and train students through the American Red Cross.

The Instructor Trainer willbe responsible forteaching American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor courses, training instructor candidates to become certified American Red Cross instructors.

The Instructor Trainer willprepare fortraining sessions,demonstrateproper techniques, and evaluate candidates' performance to ensure they have achievedproficiency.

The Instructor Trainer will work in various settings, including offices, schools, community centers, hospitals, and other locations.

The Instructor Trainer's teaching methods and content mustcomply withAmerican Red Cross requirements.

License / Certification

• American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification, r.25 — Requiredif you are looking for an instructor role

Teaching Equipment

The Instructor Trainer must own at least3 manikin sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses.

• Deliver instructor-level training sessionstoindividuals or groups.

• Demonstrate proper CPR/AED techniques thatcomply withAmerican Red Cross requirements.

• Provide feedback to candidates to help them improve their performance.

• Monitor and evaluate candidate progress to ensureproficiency.

• Complete andsubmitcourse recordsin accordance withAmerican Red Cross requirements.

• Ensure training materials are up-to-date andcomply withrelevant program requirements.

• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with CPR and AED training best practices.

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and candidates.

Requirements

• Current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.

• Strong knowledge of CPR and AED techniques and best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prepare and deliver effective training sessions.

• Attention to detail and the ability to provide constructive feedback to candidates.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

• Must be able to lift and carry training equipment, up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able todemonstrateproper CPR and AED techniques.

Working Conditions

• Work may be performed in various settings, including schools, community centers, hospitals, and corporate offices.

• Work may be performed primarily during weekends.

Salary and Benefits

Salary:

$30.00 - $40.00 per teaching hour,commensuratewith experience and length of working relationship with ALLCPR.

Additional Compensation:

$10.00 per enrolled student. (Only for instructor trainer role)
