Job summary

Hydro Building Systems Belgium seeks a hands-on technician to prepare aluminium profiles for CNC, assemble windows and doors, and build prototypes for testing. You will work with R&D to improve products and run wind, water, air tests plus related mechanical and acoustics evaluations.

Experience is welcome but not required; training is provided, and involvement with international test centers is expected. Fluency in Dutch and basic English/French is valued.

Qualifications

• Training in woodworking or metalworking, or an equivalent level through experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
• Interest in prototypes, product development and technical testing.
• An accurate and quality-oriented way of working.
• The motivation to learn and collaborate with colleagues from R&D.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and basic knowledge of English and French.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aluminium profiles for the CNC machine and assemble windows, doors, and sliding systems.
• Build prototypes according to the test file and collaborate with R&D on improvements.
• Carry out wind, water and air tightness tests and related mechanical, burglary-resistance and acoustic tests.
• Monitor test progress, report results and propose improvements.
• Coordinate materials, orders and related logistics for internal and external tests.
• Support official internal tests and tests at external laboratories.
