Job summary

The Toro Company (Exmark division) in Beatrice, Nebraska, offers a 2027 Summer Internship Program from May 17 to August 6. Interns join a multi‑discipline team to qualify prototype machines, assist test plans, and build/ instrument test setups to learn safety standards and data analysis.

Applicants should show mechanical aptitude, communication, and strong analytical skills; MS Office and test instrumentation experience are preferred. GPA 3.0+ preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands‑on work experience.
• Communication skills with the ability to execute verbal or written instructions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and test instrumentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Work within a multi‑discipline team to qualify prototype machines in advance of production.
• Assist with test plans then perform test setups, including building prototypes, instrumentation, and fixturing.
• Gather, analyze and document test results, including failure analysis.
• Gain hands‑on experience with LabVIEW, Creo, and safety standards.
• Collaborate across all functions of the business to learn what it takes to be part of a great team.
