You will guide interior/exterior systems, components, and clay models, while coordinating build plans, timing, and budgets across design, engineering, marketing and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in automotive engineering/design with vehicle systems knowledge.
• 5+ years leading complex projects and teams.
• 5+ years of prototype manufacturing techniques (3D printing, milling, layups, clay).
• Experience with Catia, 3DX, Teamcenter, Alias.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to engineer prototypes, including show/concept/pre-production vehicles.
• Develop prototype build plans and deliver data on time and with quality.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing and program teams on scope, timing and budget.
• Document feasibility concerns and drive robust solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and improvements.
