Job summary

FWG Solutions is seeking a Prototype Engineer for the LCAC 100 Program to support planning, testing, evaluations, and data collection for the U.S. Navy LCAC ACV program on-base.

You will lead trials, ensure successful shock and vibration tests, and generate final test documentation. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields, 8–10+ years’ experience, and an active Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Test/Evaluation, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in testing, data analysis and prototype work.
• Experience with test planning, data analysis and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and be responsible for testing, trials and evaluations onsite.
• Oversee all model/prototype fabrication and testing.
• Ensure and deliver successful shock/vibration testing.
• Conduct all required data testing and reporting.
• Develop relationships to support FWG's objectives and communication.
• Support special studies and prototype validation.
• Conduct deficiency correction and final test documentation.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
