Job summary

Zipline is offering a Skillbridge internship for transitioning service members, located in Esparto, California. As a Maintenance & Test Technician, you will engage in hands-on activities, supporting the maintenance of early-stage aircraft and executing tests with new prototype avionics.

Successful candidates will have experience in mechanical environments and a strong capacity for collaboration with engineers. This internship provides flexible start dates, although housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a machine shop and operating common mechanical equipment.
• Experience working with electronics at different power levels and component sizes.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build vehicle components and test jigs using instructions.
• Replace vehicle parts following instructions and updating documentation.
• Write detailed reports on test results.
