Job summary

Technical Professionals Group is seeking a motivated Prototype Diesel Technician to support heavy vehicle testing in Commerce City, CO. Candidates will perform maintenance and repairs on test vehicles and document findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of heavy-duty diesel technician experience.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic software and tools required.
• Ability to perform annual inspections on commercial motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform instructed tests and repairs with great attention to detail.
• Document tests, repairs, and configurations in descriptive notes.
• Fabricate and install instrumentation as required to perform tests.

Skills

Heavy-duty diesel technician experience

Diagnostic software and tool knowledge

Preventative maintenance inspections

Organization and detail orientation

Microsoft Office applications proficiency

General knowledge of commercial motor vehicles

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree in automotive technology
