Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Mossville, IL seeks a full-time Prototype Design & Manufacturing Engineer to design and build first-of-its-kind prototypes.

The role combines design, rapid analysis, and hands-on prototype fabrication using 3D printers, CNC, and welding tools. You will support multiple prototype teams, ensure safe, efficient delivery, and collaborate with engineers across the organization and global partner network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering with 5+ years' experience.
• Alternative: Associate's with 9+ years or Master's with 5+ years experience.
• Proficiency in Creo Design/Simulate and DFMA principles for prototyping.
• CAD/CAM experience, additive manufacturing and welding preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support 1–3 prototype projects through design, build and test phases.
• Operate prototyping equipment: 3D printers, CNC, welding tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment, manage prototype inventory, provide logistics support.
• Collaborate with engineers to share best practices in prototype design.
• Work with onsite and global partner engineers across all levels.
