Job summary

MSR-FSR is seeking a Protocol Tech 1 to support lab and clean room operations, ensuring protocol adherence, proper PPE usage, and accurate documentation across multiple campuses. You will assist with safety walks, part storage, and warehouse logistics while coordinating corrective actions with various departments.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and basic experience with semiconductor metrology equipment, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills for cross-team

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cleanroom protocols and PPE
• Able to document findings clearly in the database
• Good communication and teamwork across departments

Responsibilities

• Participate in lab and lab support areas during protocol and safety walks; document findings and coordinate root-cause actions
• Monitor and enforce clean room protocol adherence and PPE usage
• Ensure signage follows corporate format and is visible to customers
• Daily tag and sweep of FOUP/FOSB; track repeat offenders and implement corrective actions
• Manage wafer/part storage and logistics; driver for blue bin program for dispositioned parts
• Coordinate routine maintenance of vacuum wands and tools across campuses
• Collect particle samples quarterly and plot trends; share results with management
• Support CUPA and Fire inspections; assist with special visits and tours
• Provide lab cleanup support and site access for emergencies; assist CIP tracking
