Job summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a Protestant Religious Education Coordinator to support chapel programs at Andersen AFB. You will organize education activities for children, youth, and adults and work with volunteers and a chaplain to ensure engaging, well-run religious education offerings.

The role is part-time with at least two duty days per week, coordinated with the Service Chaplain. A BA/BS in Education or equivalent experience is preferred, plus background clearance and base access.

Job description

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a Protestant Religious Education Coordinator to support the Protestant chapel community at Andersen Air Force Base. The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and managing the chapel’s Religious Education programs for children, youth, and adults.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate Sunday School, Vacation Bible School (VBS), weekday Bible studies, Children's Church, AWANA, and other Religious Education programs.
• Recruit, organize, and train volunteer teachers and staff.
• Work with the Service Chaplain to plan Religious Education activities and events.
• Maintain attendance, enrollment records, program materials, classrooms, and supplies.
• Coordinate teacher meetings, training, and special chapel activities.

Qualifications

Candidates should have Sunday School and Vacation Bible School (VBS) experience, good administrative skills, and basic computer skills.

A BA/BS in Education OR at least one year of experience as a Protestant Religious Education Coordinator within the past seven years is preferred. Candidates must also be able to pass the required background investigation and obtain access to Andersen AFB.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position requiring at least 2 duty days per week. The exact days and working hours will be coordinated with the Service Chaplain.
