Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring a Raw Receiving Attendant in Georgia to join our Protein Conversion team. You will unload trailers, monitor bins, and help maintain clean, safe receiving areas while learning PIT operation and safety policies.

This hourly, 2-2-3 shift role offers growth opportunities, with benefits starting after 60 days, and a base rate of $19.10 per hour plus a $1 shift differential for 3rd shift; candidates should have a high school diploma and food-manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be able to multitask, communicate well, follow instructions, and pay close attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stage raw materials from trailers and open‑top trucks to ensure proper flow into the protein conversion process.
• Monitor raw material bins and receiving areas closely to prevent overflows, contamination, or production disruptions.
• Perform daily and weekly sanitation duties, including cleaning floors, walls, catch basins, and foaming designated areas to meet food safety and biosecurity standards.
• Learn and support all job functions within the Protein Conversion area as needed to maintain efficient operations.
• Safely operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all plant safety, food safety, and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Raw Receiving Attendant, you will be responsible for receiving, monitoring, and handling raw materials to ensure proper flow into the protein conversion process. What You’ll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment, have good communication skills, ability to comprehend instructions and apply common sense, have strong attention to detail, and must be a team player.
• Physical requirements: Ability to work in warm temperatures and lift 50 bs or more.
