Job summary

Lancaster Laboratories in San Diego seeks a scientist to support protein generation and analytical characterization within Protein Biosciences. You will assist in protein expression/purification, run analytical assays, and document results with precision in a fast-paced lab.

Requirements include a biology/biochemistry/chemistry degree, experience in protein purification, and US work authorization. The role offers full-time hours, benefits, and a path for career development at Eurofins PSS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or similar discipline.
• Experience in protein purification and analytical characterizations.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in routine antibody purification using established platform process
• Assist protein reagents purification using various column separation techniques
• Independently conduct antibody/protein analysis using HPLC and other related methods for protein characterization
• Assistance in general lab tasks to support analytical biochemistry and biophysical techniques, including sample preparation, data collection and data analysis
• Appropriate documentation of all experimental results, and the sharing and presentation of obtained results
• Highly detail-oriented, eager to learn new techniques, and maintains high precision in daily lab operations
