National Star Services in Chicago, IL is seeking a reliable Protein Processing Specialist to join a client facility team. This 1st shift role (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) operates in a cold environment and requires hands-on protein processing, knife/saw work, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You must be bilingual (English/Spanish), legally eligible to work in the US, able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and start quickly.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish for communication.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must stand and stay active for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable in cold environments and with knives/saws.
• Prior food/meat processing or warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily protein processing, including knife and saw work.
• Follow customer requirements for cuts, portions, and packaging.
• Accurately pick, check, and prepare customer orders.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure product quality.
• Operate and clean processing equipment safely and daily.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse and processing duties as needed.
