Job summary

National Star Services in Chicago, IL is seeking a Protein Processing Specialist to perform daily protein processing duties in a cold environment. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, background check, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Shift runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, with overtime available. This Full-Time Temp-to-Hire position involves following customer specifications, maintaining inventory, operating and cleaning processing equipment, and adhering to

Qualifications

Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required for effective communication.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Willing to undergo a background check.
Available to start as soon as possible.
Experience in food/meat processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform daily protein processing, which may include knife and saw work.
Follow specific customer requirements for cuts, portions, and packaging.
Carefully picking, checking, and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintaining accurate and adequate inventory levels.
Paying close attention to detail to ensure products meet quality and customer specifications.
Operating processing equipment safely and properly.
Cleaning and maintaining processing equipment on a daily basis.
Following all workplace safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
Performing other warehouse and processing duties as assigned.
