Job summary

Gavin de Becker & Associates (GDBA) is hiring a Protector in Los Angeles to protect high-profile clients and respond to security threats. The role offers strong base earnings and growth through the GDBA Training Academy, with additional retirement benefits and a merit-based progression track.

You will monitor sites, screen access, coordinate security plans, and provide physical protection for clients at their homes and while traveling.

Qualifications

• Military, law enforcement, or security experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and physical fitness.
• Ability to work in a team and follow protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property using the tools and technology of a GDBA Command Center.
• Screen visitors and vendors; control all access to protected site.
• Coordinate and execute security plans and respond to medical emergencies.
• Provide physical protection and logistical support at clients' homes and when they travel.
• Provide secure transportation as needed.
• Survey and prepare locations prior to arrival of client.
• Prepare detailed documentation of suspicious activity.
• Create and maintain readiness to meet any threat.
